 The first inaugural "AKTIV Day" will take place on Tuesday, May 8th, 2018. On this day, AKTIV Against Cancer will partner with a number of fitness studios across Manhattan that will donate 10% of their proceeds to AKTIV Against Cancer. In other words, this is YOUR opportunity to support our cause: making physical activity an integral part of cancer treatment. We all have been affected by cancer in one way or another, so let's do our part in giving back!   How can you get involved?   Simply attend a class at one of our partner studios on May 8th. Committed fitness partners currently include: Mile High Run Club, Flywheel Sports, Tone House, DanceBody, CITYROW, & SWERVE Fitness. Attend a new class you've been wanting to try and you just might find your next favorite class, all while supporting our mission! Why not be "AKTIV" in order to raise awareness for physical activity as an fundamental part of cancer treatment?!   Where do the proceeds go? Karlie and I made 2 of my recipes in her office kitchen after a long run.  While I'm super comfortable out on the roads I someday hope to be as comfortable as Karlie is behind the camera, ha ha!
